You can browse this website without creating an account. The website has no data collection forms or visitor database added to its pages. The site’s own images, fonts and scripts are hosted with the website. Cloudflare adds Web Analytics to measure page visits and loading performance without cookies or local storage, and without tracking you across websites. The account and backup features described below concern the app, not browsing this website.
Hosting and security
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver pages and protect the service, Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses, request dates and times, requested page addresses and browser information. This data is used to operate, troubleshoot and secure the hosting service, subject to Cloudflare’s retention and protection practices.
Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if provided and the contents of your message. This information is used to handle and follow up on your request. Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes or personal information about other people.
Access, retention and processing abroad
Access to messages is limited to the people who need to handle your request and the providers needed to deliver email. We retain messages for as long as needed to handle and follow up on your request and meet applicable obligations, then delete them. The services used may process information outside Quebec and Canada. Their policies describe their practices and applicable safeguards.
Your requests and choices
You can contact us at the address above to exercise your applicable rights or request details about how your information is handled. We may request information needed to verify your identity before responding. You may also contact the appropriate authority, including Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information. Changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated date.
Privacy in the Caddiora app
Sign in with Apple
Apple confirms your identity. Our authentication service stores an account identifier and the name and email address shared by Apple, which may be a private relay address. Your password is never shared with Caddiora. Signing in alone does not upload your golf history. When you enable automatic backup or request a backup, completed rounds and recorded shot positions are saved privately under this account and can be restored on another iPhone. The name or nickname you confirm is also stored in your private profile and used by default for the first player of each new round. It can be changed for each round without changing the account name.
Your data on the device
Rounds, players, scores, shots, club selections and personal mapping records are saved on the iPhone in the signed-in account’s storage. You can play offline with data already available. Your bag and personal mapping library stay local; clubs used and positions copied into a round are included in that round’s backup. App statistics are recalculated from the rounds available on the device.
What an online backup contains
When you enable automatic backup or request a manual backup, the completed round is associated with your private account. It includes dates, player names, entered scores and statistics, holes and tees, recorded shots, clubs used, and available GPS positions and accuracy. This information lets you recover the round and its recorded or calculated distances on another iPhone signed in to the same account. It is not published in the shared catalogue. Your Health history and a continuous movement track are not part of this backup. Backup services may process this data outside your country. Your gifted first Premium round is always saved only on your device and is never uploaded to the cloud, even if you later subscribe. Its statistics remain available free of charge while its local data exists. Deleting this round locally, the app or your account removes its local data and statistics, without making you eligible for another gifted round.
Controlling uploads
The automatic backup choice applies to the account on this device. Turning it off stops new automatic requests without deleting online copies; uploads already requested may still finish. New automatic or manual cloud backups require a Premium subscription. Restoring or deleting existing online backups remains free. An unconfirmed request is kept locally so it can resume. The iPhone performs backups: Watch actions must first reach the phone.
Location and recorded positions
With your permission, Caddiora uses precise location for nearby courses, distances and positions you choose to record. Recorded positions used in a completed round are included when you request or enable its private online backup. They are not sent to the course data provider. You can disable location in iOS or watchOS settings; scoring remains available, but location features will be limited.
Online course services
Online services update the public catalog and download course details using your signed-in account. Requests may process an IP address, app or device integrity information and your account identifier for security and service delivery. The server records course requests and usage limits associated with this identifier. The course data provider receives course identifiers requested by our server, not your scores or personal GPS recordings. These services may process information outside your country.
Apple Maps
Satellite maps are supplied by Apple. Displaying a map involves requests to Apple for the area being viewed and may involve location information under Apple’s settings and privacy practices. Local storage of your rounds does not mean that satellite maps work without network requests. See Apple’s privacy information below.
Apple Watch and Health
The paired watch receives the active round and exchanges scores, statistics and recorded shots with the iPhone. It keeps a local copy and pending actions for synchronization. If you explicitly start a golf activity and authorize it, Caddiora can save that workout to Apple Health. This optional feature does not request access to read your health history. Health data is handled separately by Apple and is not uploaded to Caddiora’s catalogue services. If you enable “Keep GPS active” or start the golf workout, the watch can receive your location in the background during that session, for up to six hours. This improves distance availability and uses more battery. It does not create a continuous route archive or automatically upload these positions; only explicitly recorded shot positions follow the round backup rules.
Storage and retention
Signing out keeps the account’s local data, including unconfirmed requests for the next sign-in to the same account. Uninstalling the app does not delete the account or its online backups. Deleting a local round keeps its online copy. Deleting an online backup removes its details but retains a summary marked as deleted, including the course, dates, players and their totals, to prevent an old request from recreating it. This summary is removed when the account is deleted.
Account deletion
In Settings, deleting the account requires you to confirm your identity with Apple. Access to private data is blocked, then its removal starts along with deletion of the account and local data on this iPhone. Temporary cleanup information is retained until processing finishes and old access credentials expire. Shared courses and maps remain available to other users. Copies on other offline devices, device backups and Health activities are managed separately. Providers’ logs and technical copies follow their own retention periods. To verify subscriptions, prevent repeat introductory trials and first-round gifts, and enforce the lifetime limit of three free course downloads, a limited pseudonymous record is retained after account deletion. It contains no name, email address, GPS positions or rounds.
Your choices
In Settings, you can manage automatic backup, view and restore online rounds, sign out or delete your account. Local rounds are removed in History and their backups in Backed-up rounds. Manage location and Health permissions in your device settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to make a complaint; this page does not limit those rights.
About this policy
This policy describes the current app and may be updated when its features or services change. You can contact us using the address below. The provider links explain their own practices and supplement the description of Caddiora above.

For questions about your personal information or this policy, contact us at the address below. Never send your Apple password or verification codes.
Usage statistics and diagnostics
On iPhone and iPad, sending usage data and technical reports to our service providers to understand how Caddiora is used and improve its reliability is optional and disabled without your consent. At the first launch, including after the update introducing this request for existing users, you can allow all, refuse all or customize your choice. Usage statistics and crash reports can be enabled separately. Your choice is saved on this device and can be changed or withdrawn at any time in the privacy section of the app’s settings. Refusing does not limit any free or Premium features. They include app launches and usage duration, starting or completing a round, successful downloads, viewing offers, and certain purchase or subscription events, including the product reference and price. Installation identifiers, app and operating system versions, device model, crash traces and error codes may also be processed. An approximate region may be derived from the IP address. We do not add names, email addresses, account identifiers, scores or GPS coordinates to these reports. This measurement does not use advertising identifiers or serve advertising tracking across apps or websites. It operates independently of round backups and website language preferences. The services may process data abroad; their logs and reports follow their own retention periods.
